Villa Limonicella, nestled in Barrydale's picturesque Karoo region, offers a luxurious escape just 2.5 hours from Cape Town along Route 62. Set within a captivating 3000m² garden, featuring a pool and outdoor entertainment area, it guarantees a serene holiday. Crafted by Dutch artist Hans van Hoek, the Villa ensures a comfortable and convenient stay. The house has 3 separate living areas with bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as beautiful common areas both inside and outside. Upstairs, there are 4 bedrooms comprising 2 with king-size beds, 1 with a queen-size bed, and the fourth featuring a bunk bed suitable for children. 2 Bathrooms are available on this floor: the main bathroom has a bath, shower, and separate toilet, while the second bathroom has a shower and toilet. Downstairs, the remaining 3 bedrooms await guests, 2 with queen-size beds and 1 with a double bed. Additionally, downstairs boasts a bathroom with a bath, shower, and separate toilet. The open-plan living area presents a stylish kitchen with essential appliances like a gas stove, oven, microwave, and fridge-freezer, as well as amenities such as a stove-top kettle, cutlery, and crockery. There's also a breakfast bar with stools. Connected to the kitchen is a 12-seater dining table for shared meals, and a tastefully decorated lounge area with cozy couches and a fireplace adds to the ambiance. Outside, guests can enjoy dining and relaxation in the rear area with ample seating, a built-in braai/BBQ area, and a swimming pool, all surrounded by lush gardens. Secure onsite parking and Wi-Fi access are provided for convenience. Chefs & Property Managers, Giuseppe and Esther, are available in a secondary building to assist guests if needed.

For the more romantic, just relax in front of the fireplace with a cocktail or wine and enjoy the view. The Villa is very quiet and perfectly situated with easy access to Route 62 highway that takes you along the Garden Route. Enjoy our pool on hot sunny days or lounge inside in the cool.
Our small Village has a bustling restaurant and tourist area where you can mingle with locals and meet interesting people with different backgrounds. Visit our Saturday Market, various Art Studios & collectable shops, all within walking distance from the Villa or take a drive along Tradouw Pass through the Langeberg mountain range & visit historical Swellendam, the 3rd oldest town in South Africa.
